Charitable Giving
Heshmati & Associates is committed to supporting many community organizations throughout Southern Nevada. Giving back to the communities we live and work in is an integral part of who we are. Below are several examples of our involvement.
Local Las Vegas Soccer Team (2023)
Heshmati & Associates have sponsored a local Las Vegas Soccer team. They are called LV United and they are in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL). Their mission is to provide quality and affordable football experience and environment to all in Las Vegas.
RebelSat UNLV Space-Based Research (2023)
RebelSat UNLV is a student-led initiative to develop CubeSats for space-based research and development. With the support of their faculty advisors and industry partners, they are working to create innovative solutions that will advance our understanding of space and its potential applications.
Child Haven Comfort Kits Project (2021)
When children are removed from their homes and placed into protective custody, they have few, if any, of their personal belongings. The Department of Family Services provides a duffel bag filled with new clothing, toys, and other essential items to children when they depart the Child Haven campus to live with relatives or in a foster home.
LV Aces Youth Basketball Organization (2020)
LV Aces Youth Basketball Organization is part of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and is based in the Sunrise Manor area of Southern Nevada. LV Aces Youth Basketball Organization is committed to teaching the importance of higher education, respect for parents & peers, and great sportsmanship.
Club Christ After School Program (2018, 2019)
Since 2004, Club Christ's tutoring and mentoring programs have impacted the lives of thousands of Las Vegas youth. Club Christ After School Program strives to meet the unique needs of its students through innovative assessments and personal learning plans. Elementary students enrolled in their weekly tutoring program typically improve one-two grade levels per year in their reading ability.
Backpack for Kids in Las Vegas (2018, 2019)
The BackPack for Kids program provides bags of nutritious, single-serving, ready-to-eat food items each Friday during the school year to children who might otherwise go without during weekends and long breaks from school. BackPack for Kids is offered during the summer months to continue supporting childhood nutrition year-round. Thousands of children are eligible for free and reduced-price meals through the Clark County School District.
Sri Lanka America Association of Las Vegas (2018)
Sri Lanka America Association of Las Vegas promotes cultural, educational, and upward mobility events for immigrants from Sri Lanka who live in Henderson and Las Vegas.
Warriors Youth Sports
Warriors Youth Sports has been serving the youth of Northern Douglas County in Nevada since 1967 and provide our youth with the opportunity to participate in the following competitive sports: Football, Baseball, Girls Fast-Pitch Softball, Basketball, Lacrosse, and Volleyball.
The Huntridge Foundation (2012)
The Huntridge Foundation, a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has been tirelessly advocating for the preservation and resurrection of the historic Huntridge Theatre since 2012. As proponents of re-urbanism for the property (encouraging economic growth vibrant communities through building re-use), the Huntridge Foundation is advocating for redevelopment of the site. The mission of the Huntridge Foundation is to preserve the architectural integrity, history, and culture of the Huntridge Theatre and the surrounding community.
